Yoga is the union within us; between our mind, our body and our soul. In pregnancy, this concept of union is extended to the life growing inside you: your baby’s soul.
A gentle yoga practice of carefully selected asanas (poses), with breath-work, balance, self-awareness, physical strength and mental peace.
At Puresoul, pregnancy yoga is offered fortnightly on a Friday morning at 11am, with a maximum of 6 students in the class.
This is a high support class, pregnancy is such a beautiful time, but it can also feel tiring, anxiety provoking and physically demanding. I have extensive props and equipment for these classes so that expectant mums are as comfortable as possible.
All yoga students will need to gain verbal advice from their midwife before commencing yoga - you are welcome to come along at any stage of pregnancy but the latest to start is at 32 weeks.
